The DM68 is the standard blank cartridge for training and simulation scenarios within the Bundeswehr. It was engineered and qualified to meet their high technical requirements of the German Armed Forces. It is equally compatible with semi-automatic and automatic firearms. A suitable blank cartridge device is required to ensure that the firearm functions properly.
