The load is designed for use against unprotected soft targets. By using 8.13 mm lead-free copper shot with a total of nine individual pellets per cartridge, high effectiveness against soft targets is achieved, in particular due to the high energy transfer of each individual pellet into the target medium.

Effectiveness against hard targets such as wood or vehicle body panels is also provided. Due to the precise arrangement of the individual components, the 20.5 g payload generates reliable weapon function in commercially available shotguns.
