This load is designed for use against uncovered soft targets. By using 8.25 mm shot with a total of nine individual pellets per cartridge, high effectiveness against soft targets is achieved, in particular due to the high energy transfer of each individual pellet into the target medium. Effectiveness against hard targets such as wood or thinner metal sheets is also provided. Additionally, a special buffer granulate ensures a tighter shot pattern and an optimised spread.
The 30 g shot charge generates sufficient impulse for reliable weapon function, even in semi-automatic shotguns. The star crimp moreover contributes to increased safety and reliability in application. Consequently, high functional reliability is supported even under demanding operational conditions.
