The 5.56x45 NATO Ball is the standard tactical military cartridge for the NATO alliance and its partners. It is engineered for flawless functionally in all NATOapproved standard firearms. The bullet design corresponds to the SS109 and M855 bullet types and consists of two bullet cores with a tail cover, with a hardened steel front core and a lead rear core. SINOXID primer technology is used for the load to guarantee reliable ignition even under the most adverse conditions. A REACH-compliant nitrocellulose powder (two-base) is used as the propellant, which enables effective use of the cartridge in a temperature range from -54°C to +52°C. It is also waterproof and fully compliant with AEP-97 (M-CMOPI).
